We all like to poke a bit of fun at Rockstar for the amount of attention they continue giving GTA V all these years on from its release, rather than focusing on other titles (and speeding up with the next instalment in the Grand Theft Auto series, for that matter). But, that said, there’s no denying that it’s still a fantastic game, and absolutely deserves all the love it gets.
As such, it’s no surprise that fans continue to produce some stellar mods for the game, and as reported by PCGamesN, one has completely visually transformed Los Santos into something spectacular.
Some GTA V mods exist to make the game look better, others let you play as Homelander from The Boys - check out the latter below.
One talented modder, Razed, has been working on a stunning mod titled NaturalVision, and their latest update has added a whole host of new, detailed models, improved shadows and lighting, and some really cool details like melting snow on Mount Chiliad. The weather system has also been completely overhauled - weather now transitions more gradually, rather than just quickly flicking from one thing to the next. So, no more abrupt ends to storms. If you’re interested, you can get the mod straight from Razed’s Patreon page.

It might not be a new game, but a tidy overhaul of GTA V might be just what fans need to tide them over until the release of GTA VI. Speaking of which, recently, a whole load of (unconfirmed) details about the upcoming game were dropped in a Bloomberg report - not only will there apparently be a female protagonist, but the title will be set in Vice City, and is slated for a April 2023 - March 2024 release.
Advert
Reportedly, there are plans to add more cities to the game as post-launch content, so it could end up being absolutely ginormous - it supposedly already has more interior locations than GTA V. At the moment though, official news about GTA VI (if it’s even actually going to be called that) remains very thin on the ground - we’ll just have to stay tuned for news.
