GTA 6 gameplay leak teases so many side activities you won't know where to start

Like so many others, I’m very excited to play GTA VI - this despite my on again, off again, relationship with the franchise.

It’s not so much the crimes and the dramatic story that’s intriguing me, more so the side activities and the general chaos that often ensues in Grand Theft Auto.

When possible side activities leaked some time ago, I won’t lie, the most exciting aspect for me is the chance that a harpoon weapon may point to fishing being a way to pass the time in Vice City.

Now, I’m eager to know more and spend my hours in GTA VI catching fish and making money.

If you’re interested in what might be, and don’t mind possibly spoiling the game for yourself, then Reddit has been chatting about GTA distractions.

Of course, the idea of a harpoon does bring out the devils of Reddit, with one fan saying, “Damn, that speargun is gonna make all sorts of RDR2 like shenanigans possible if it's got a line attached to the spear! Fingers crossed!”

Also on the proposed list, pulled from the Rockstar Games leak, are golf, scuba diving, and of course, racing.

While Lucia and Jason’s story is likely going to be a blockbuster, filled with betrayal, love, and larceny, we’re all going to lose countless hours to just wandering around Vice City looking for random things to do.

If scuba diving makes it into the game - and it’s likely given Vice City is based on Miami - then many of us will be practically aquatic by the end of the game.

One Redditor has obviously been ‘carping’ on about fishing in GTA for some time, as they said, “If this was aimed at me and my constant whining about wanting fishing in the game, I’m sorry. I’m just very excited lol.”

I think millions of us have been asking for this for year, to be fair.
