New weaponry is one of the many features GTA players are looking forward to upon GTA VI’s launch.
Some will try to rain on this parade by grumbling about violence in video games, but if you’re playing a GTA title, you want weapons to be involved.
It’s part of what makes it a GTA experience. That and cars, obviously.

Unsurprisingly, a recent GTA VI weapons leak has fans planning ahead for all sorts of “shenanigans”.
The speargun in particular is receiving a lot of attention.
On r/GTA6, user En4cr said, “Damn, that speargun is gonna make all sorts of RDR2-like shenanigans possible if it's got a line attached to the spear! Fingers crossed!”
Fellow fan Porch-Geese joked, “Drive by harpooning.”

Check out the GTA VI trailer.
Vice City is about to get chaotic when Lucia and Jason just show up and start “lasso-ing NPCs”.
Before anyone believes the images/logos depicted to be official, we need you to be aware that said information is based upon details harvested from various leaks.

“This is from an unofficial document compiling information from the leaks. They used random pictures for all this stuff just for something to look at,” Frequent-Engineer-87 explained.
“Point is, the speargun having a line in the picture doesn’t necessarily mean anything because it’s not a picture from the game/leaks.”
Just something to be mindful of, that’s all we’re saying.
Nonetheless, what’s suggested here has once again refuelled the excitement in a fandom tired of waiting.

As always, a spanner is about to be thrown into the works though.
According to analysts, the cost of GTA VI might be more than we’ve been expecting, meaning some might find themselves unable to join in when the game launches.
But considering how enormous Rockstar says its game will be, plus how highly anticipated it is, a steep price will likely be deemed appropriate for such an experience.
Can you put a price on being able to harpoon NPCs? That’s the real question.
