According to reported gameplay leaks, one of the most beloved features of GTA IV is coming back in GTA VI.

Of course, we should always take rumours with a pinch of salt until proven otherwise by Rockstar Games. However, following those infamous GTA VI leaks taken from an early build of the game, some rumours at least have a snippet of believability, to an extent.

Check out the first GTA VI trailer below!

Following those infamous leaks and seemingly endless rumours, Rockstar Games finally released the first trailer for GTA VI in December 2023, and it did not disappoint. Since that time, Grand Theft Auto fans have been desperate for a second trailer to be released.

We still know very little about GTA VI but we do know that it will at least be in part set in the returning Miami-inspired Vice City (as well as other potential locations) and it will feature ex-convict Lucia and her partner, Jason in the main story.

Not much else was teased in the debut GTA VI trailer and at this time, we don't know for sure what gameplay features it will have, let alone side activities. That being said, that will never stop the social media rumour mill from spinning.

In a Reddit post, GTA fan and industry insider, Denso95 has gone into a massive Grand Theft Auto VI deepdive. Data is said to have been gathered from leaks as well as profiles of Rockstar Games’ employees.

Over 50 points have been detailed and while most seem credible, as I said earlier, they should still be taken with a pinch of salt until proven otherwise.

One detail that stands out more than most is the return of bowling, which we last saw in GTA IV. No other details were mentioned, but it’s an exciting prospect nonetheless.

As exciting as that prospect might be, the joyous thought of bowling in GTA VI is instantly greeted by GTA IV flashbacks of Roman Bellic hounding me on the phone for a game of bowling, darts, pool or whatever else he wants to do to ruin my day.

Thankfully, after the events in GTA IV, there’s no chance that Roman Bellic will return in GTA VI, right?

Grand Theft Auto VI is expected to be released in late 2025 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. The inevitable PC release is yet to be formally announced.
