With fans impatiently awaiting the arrival of Grand Theft Auto 6, one insider has hinted at Rockstar’s following project which may just be a long-awaited sequel.
It seems like forever ago we were all playing Grand Theft Auto 5 for the first time and that is somewhere close to the truth considering it has been over ten years since Rockstar released the classic title. Even longer ago than that, however, was Bully, which was released back in 2006.
The open-world action-adventure game by Rockstar told the story of a mischievous schoolboy as he navigates life in the worst school around, Bullworth Academy. With a busy day of standing up to bullies, getting picked on by teachers, playing pranks and trying to get the girl, you have a busy schedule as 15-year-old Jimmy Hopkins.

Now just a few years away from Bully’s 20th anniversary, one insider believes Bully 2 could be the next project for Rockstar after Grand Theft Auto 6 is finally done and dusted. The insider, Tez2, reveals Bully 2 was shelved after two years of development between 2008-2010. It would have featured the honour system found in Red Dead Redemption 2 and the map would have been 3x the size of the original. Additionally, every building would have been open to explore.
Until then, Rockstar fans will have to do what they do best and wait. However, with Grand Theft Auto 6 reportedly being the studio’s main project, it could be a while before we see Bully 2.

In related news, the GTA 6 release date may be slipping further and further away after rumours that we would get a release date back in October. As a result, many fans believe we won’t see an announcement until at least 2024 with the game itself hopefully arriving in 2025. However, with no confirmation from Rockstar, we have to take all the rumours with a pinch of salt.
