Los Santos just got a whole lot scarier

Grand Theft Auto V is many things but a horror it is not. Well, unless you consider Trevor’s antics a bit horrific which I don’t blame you for.

However, one creator has done just that by creating a mod which adds a horror story to the world of Grand Theft Auto V.

Check out some funny moments from Grand Theft Auto V below!

Evil Soul on Nexus Mods by AlexDevilish has the tagline “something is watching you” and if that has piqued your interest, then it is free to download for all PC users.

“Can you survive nights from 00:00 until 03:00?” The description reads. “Experience lights being cut off, watch everyone around you die and burn and watch objects float around you like in the horror movies you used to watch”.

It appears as though a lost soul has arrived in Los Santos and she is out for revenge. When the clock strikes midnight, she will appear and attack without warning and drag you to the mine shaft to finish the job.

If you try to hop into a vehicle and escape, she will burst your tires so there is nothing to do but escape your fate after slowly watching those around you die one by one.

If you are unsure whether or not you have the stomach for the Evil Soul mod, you can check out a teaser video over on Youtube as Michael experiences the spirit’s wrath.

We see Michael as he explores the dark rooms of his house and gradually comes across the bodies of his beloved family. Objects float as he runs to escape but running to the safety of the streets is not going to help. The trailer ends with Michael trapped in the abandoned mine shaft and you will have to wait and see what happens next.

“Great, time to give myself heart attacks,” one comment read and I can’t help but agree.
