Gender reveal parties have been a bit of a curse upon humankind since they truly started to pick up steam in the early 2000s.
Some couples just seem incapable of doing this sort of thing in a low-key fashion, which has led to numerous examples of injury and destruction.
One couple once caused an explosion so loud their neighbours thought there was an earthquake. Another caused a bloody wildfire in Alberta. Two people even died trying to pull off a fancy stunt in a plane during a gender reveal, because nothing says “it’s a boy!” like doing a sick barrel roll I guess.

That’s why I’m hoping Grand Theft Auto gender reveals start getting a bit more popular, following the news of two streamers using Rockstar Games’ GTA 5 as a means to reveal the gender of their baby.
Streamers Luquet4 and Caju used a Grand Theft Auto V RP server to announce the news to their friends and family, by having a bunch of jets explode into the colour blue on stream.
So, why did they do this in GTA 5 of all places? Turns out, there’s actually a pretty wholesome reason for that.
“we did it in GTA because thats where we met and worked,” Caju revealed, “we also didn't want to spend money to reveal this.”

Well, whatever the reason, I’m a big fan of the way they pulled this off.
Mostly because nobody died by getting shot out of a cannon or something, because all of the chaos was contained in a digital format.
Now the real question is, do you guys think there will be a mission about a gender reveal party gone wrong in Grand Theft Auto VI?
My money is on yes. I mean, it is supposed to be set in Florida after all.
