I’ve been pretty upfront before about the fact that I play a lot of Fortnite, and I mean a lot.
But I want to make it abundantly clear that I’m not a part of the cohort that was a part of this study.
That being said, I’m also not surprised that Fortnite gamers are officially 2024’s horniest gaming bunch.

That’s according to PornHub’s year in review statistics.
Look, Fortnite is canonically a sexless game. Well, sort of.
Developers would claim it is sexless, but there is that one Wolverine comic where somehow, a member of Fortnite’s The Seven had a, let’s say, cosy night with the superhero.
Then again, Fortnite’s lore has been reset since then.

That all aside though, if you’re a Fortnite player, you’ll likely have seen fellow players using the dirtiest emote combinations possible, especially if there’s a Chun-Li in the lobby.
Every time I see such a thing, a little part of my soul crumbles away, but the horny Fortnite community can rejoice because they’ve topped PornHub’s year in review ‘most searched for video games’ category.
Fortnite has launched Chapter 6, Season 1 ‘Hunters’, and it’s fantastic.
Fortnite has ‘won’ the category for a fourth year in a row, after also taking the crown in 2021, 2022, and 2023.

It was nearly overtaken though by Genshin Impact, which rose up four places to become the second most searched for game.
Pokémon came in third … which made me shudder. THEY’RE NOT EVEN HUMAN.
Overwatch, Minecraft, Resident Evil, League of Legends, Valorant, GTA VI, and Sims 4 rounded out the top 10.
Minecraft? THEY’RE BLOCKS.

Among Us, Splatoon, Super Mario, and The Legend of Zelda also ended up on the list, and I wish you could see how sad I look typing these.
