We already knew this new Fallout region was in the works, but after Bethesda’s Fallout Day, we now know that The Gleaming Depths is officially on its way.

Fallout 76 is about to get a whole lot bigger... and tougher.

The Gleaming Depths expansion is an official Bethesda update which will incorporate challenging boss fights.

What this means is that end-game level players are ideally suited to the trials that await.

Take a look at what's coming up for the game.

That being said, teamwork is another crucial component that might just save you in a pinch if you’re at a lower level.

However you decide to tackle this new challenge, you need to be ready because a behemoth sized snake is going to test your skills to their limit.

The giant serpent is the Ultracite Terror.

With a name like that, we doubt it’s going to be an easy path to victory.

It isn’t all terror in the depths though, as Fallout is also going to introduce pets for your C.A.M.P.

Currently, only dogs and cats will be available. However, Bethesda promises that more pets are coming in the near future... Will we see a pet Deathclaw?

Perhaps the Ultracite Terror won’t be the only fight on our hands if that’s the case.

In addition to this, there’ll also be playable Ghouls come 2025, and possibly fishing if the little teaser towards the end of the broadcast was truthful.

But before all of that, we’re heading into The Gleaming Depths.

This update is designed to test you, not just as solo player but as a team player as well. And yes, I know how cheesy that sounds.

The Gleaming Depths will open this December.

If you intend to explore it and partake in those raids, you need to be ready. As the saying goes, war never changes, and neither does the toughness of these boss fights.

You’re in for a rough ride.
