If you’re a fan of Fallout and Resident Evil, then you need to check out this new RPG.
Despite featuring the cute Vault Boy as the face of the franchise, Bethesda’s Fallout series is not short of horror, as anyone who has played the mission that takes players to Tranquility Lane will be very aware. Oh, the series is about a nuclear apocalypse and horrifying mutants trying to kill you, so there is that.
Check out the M.O.Z.I. trailer below!
However, if we could inject some classic Capcom horror with a hint of Resident Evil into a Fallout-inspired RPG, we’d surely be on to a winner, right? Well, one such game is on the way developed and published by the indie team at Mihanikus Games called M.O.Z.I.

“M.O.Z.I. - A post-apocalyptic first-person shooter with elements of horror, survival and tower defence,” reads the description of the game on Steam. “Deadly Wasteland, Dying Planet: radiation, mutants, aliens and savages are all out to get you. Defend yourself, gather food and resources, and upgrade your equipment. Survive.”
“Your past is intricately woven into the present. You're not alone. Shared hardship and hope, but no time for doubt or inner conflict. The mission is paramount. Yet the embers of memory are still smouldering in your heart. Will you find the strength and courage to face and accept the truth?”
Previously, at least according to Steam, Mihanikus Games has only released a racing game called Midnight Legends with M.O.Z.I. looking to be a more ambitious project.
At the time of writing, M.O.Z.I. does not have a release date but hopefully, that information will drop soon. With a bit of luck, if M.O.Z.I. proves to be a success, we might see it launching on PlayStation and Xbox.

For the time being, it’s safe to assume that it is a PC exclusive but you can wishlist M.O.Z.I. on Steam to be notified by the developers when it’s ready to launch.
