Fallout fans, get ready for a brand-new adventure someone completely different.
While the wait for Fallout 5 might be killing us, there's plenty to look forward to over the next few months. Fallout 76 is still getting a ton of updates, a gorgeous new boxset containing all the older games is coming, and, of course, Amazon's Fallout series is right around the corner.
Take a look at the brand-new trailer below:
I don't know about you, but I'm excited. It really looks like the cast and crew of Amazon's Fallout have absolutely nailed the vibe of the Bethesda games. It looks gory, scary, and genuinely funny in that twisted way that Fallout series has always excelled at. That's a punishing tightrope to walk.

If you've not been paying attention, it looks like the upcoming series if Fallout 5 in all but name. That's according to co-showrunner Jonathan Nolan, at least.
In an interview with Total Film, Nolan spoke on the show’s originality: “From the first conversation with Todd [Howard], we were most excited about an original story. Each of the games is a discrete story – different city, distinct protagonist – within the same mythology. Our series sits in relation to the games as the games sit in relation to each other.
“It's almost like we're Fallout 5. I don't want to sound presumptuous, but it's just a non-interactive version of it, right?”
This non-interactive version of Fallout 5 takes place in California - a first for the series - and follows a number of separate characters as they journey across the irradiated wastes of Los Angeles.

Lucy (Ella Purnell) is a vault dweller-turned explorer who sets off on a personal journey. We'll also meet Maximus, a member of the Brotherhood of Steel portrayed by Aaron Moten. A third major player is Walton Goggins’ cowboy Ghoul, who I suspect could quickly become a fan-favourite.
Amazon has confirmed Fallout will debut on 11 April.
