Fallout fans don’t get to eat that well over the past few years. Aside from the brilliant Amazon TV show adapted from the games, there has been little for fans to sink their teeth into.
It’s why Fallout mods do so well, because we’re starved of content, and it’s down to those self same fans to create new stories for us all to enjoy.
Fallout 76 is the only way to play new Fallout content at the moment
One fan, rafo-ddit on Reddit, has taken things into their own hands and started creating a comic book based on the Fallout franchise.

They’ve showcased a few pages from the comic in a new thread, and so far, other lovers of the series are excited by what they see.
In the thread, rafo-ddit says, “It's a personal project that has been in my mind for a few years, and after trying about four times, I finally managed to give it shape.”
The artwork is genuinely brilliant, and shows some wonderful shots of the wasteland and what appears to be the interior of some vaults.
The creator was clearly inspired by Star Wars comics, as there are a lot of similar shots, and scenes pulled from those iconic landscapes and characters.

Still, fans think the artist is onto something.
“That looks reallllll goooooddd keep it up,” enthuses SeperateAd156.
“The artistry is amazing,” says Willing_News_1599 in their encouraging comment.
It’s surprising that Bethesda hasn’t teamed with a company like Dark Horse to create a comic book universe for Fallout, given the freedom artists can have with their work.

This is picked up by one Redditor who says, “The lack of Fallout comics is absolutely wild. This looks amazing!”
It’s great to see such overwhelming support for the project, as one user says, “Dude, when this is fully done. PLEASE let us know.”
It’s worth bookmarking that user in case they update the project, as we’ll be waiting a fair few years before the next official Fallout game.
