Fallout fanatics are going to be eating well soon, as a new DLC has been confirmed to be on the way.
The Fallout series has had some pretty sizeable expansions in the past. There was the endgame-changing expansion Broken Steel from Fallout 3, while Fallout 4’s Far Harbor added a big extra chunk onto the game’s average playtime.
Then, we got the expansion-sized Fallout: London earlier this year. Despite not being a Bethesda release (instead being developed by a modding team), the scope rivalled that of an official product.

Even New Vegas’ expansions, while not massive, have been revered by players for the worldbuilding and context they provided the base game.
Was Fallout: London one of the best Fallout projects ever?
Now, Fallout: London developers Team FOLON have confirmed that they’re making a DLC for the game.

When addressing the mod’s 1.3 patch, Team FOLON confirmed that what was originally a bunch of bug fixes has now “grown into something much bigger”.
“Given the scope of this update, we’re aware it may make changes that impact save files, so rather than risking breaking things for a small update, we’re looking to roll this into a part of our very first DLC!” The developer announced on its official channels.
“This DLC will feature both new content and previously cut content that we’re working hard to restore. Stay tuned for more details – big things are on the way!”

This isn’t the only news coming from Team FOLON, as with this announcement we also get confirmation that the team has now formed as a registered business.
With this milestone reached, Team FOLON is now established as a game developer, meaning more titles could come from them in the future.
In any case, the developer is keen to get their community’s thoughts on their journey, releasing a small survey for feedback. If you’re a fan of Fallout: London and want to see more from the team, it’d be wise to check it out.
There currently isn’t a timeframe for when the Fallout: London DLC will release, but we imagine it’ll be massive when it eventually launches.
