While you wait for the arrival of Fallout 5, you might want to check out this other new upcoming open-world RPG.
There’s no question that Bethesda fans are hyped for the next entry in its post-apocalyptic RPG series. However, there’s no telling when Fallout 5 will be released and we can only assume that it will arrive after The Elder Scrolls VI, both of which currently have no release dates.
Check out the Pioner trailer below!
One game that should help pass the time while we wait for Fallout 5 is an upcoming PvP and PvE open-world shooter, Pioner. Let’s face it, Pioner does not have a release date at the time of writing either, but it's very likely to get here before Fallout 5.

“Pioner is an open-world MMO first-person shooter set in a haunting, alternative-reality world where Soviet-era structures lie abandoned on a desolate, post-apocalyptic island,” reads the description of the game. “In this immersive environment, the gameplay experience is defined by dynamic PvE and PvP elements, where realism takes priority over traditional health bars or character levels.”
“With a sprawling map of 50+ square kilometres, not counting hidden dungeons, players can explore a world rich with mystery and danger, encountering story quests and faction missions that influence relationships and loyalty rewards.”
As I’ve already stated, Pioner does not have a release date just yet but it is expected to launch sometime in 2025. Furthermore, considering that it’s recently undergone a beta test, its release might not be too far away.
Developed and published by GFAGames, Pioner will be released on PC, PlayStation and Xbox. You can also wishlist the game on Steam to be notified of its launch.
