Fallout 4 has a hidden bunker you definitely missed

How did we miss this?

Fallout 4 may be rapidly approaching its ten-year anniversary but as with any open-world RPG, there are still secrets to be found.

First released in 2015 as the fourth instalment in the Fallout series, Fallout 4 was considered one of the weakest thanks to its lack of the classic Fallout RPG elements and a non-engaging storyline, to name but a few issues.

However, it has still done pretty well for itself and almost a decade on, players are still heading to the Commonwealth and as a result, secrets are still being discovered.

In a thread over on r/fo4, one player began a thread which would discuss some of the more “obscure, valuable tips/tricks” from Fallout 4.

What followed was over 300 comments sharing Easter eggs, secrets and hidden features from the Bethesda title but there was one that stuck out more than others.

“There's a house in Sanctuary (yellow I think) with a bunker of sorts in the backyard, you can get supplies out of it and a few gold bars too,” one player revealed.

Not only that but according to the same person, a military-style duffle bag can be found on the roof of the same house and can be accessed via a fallen tree leaning on the side of the building.

For fans of Fallout 4, Sanctuary is the first area you will get to explore in the game and as a result, it is often neglected.

However, according to this Reddit thread, there is plenty to be found once you have found the yellow house and the military duffle bag.

“After you've grabbed the loot on the roof turn and head down the hill to the river behind the house, once across it turn right and head down the river a ways,” the comment continued.

“You'll come across some armor and either a Raider or a scavenger shooting a gun at some bottle targets, it's a good source of armor before you even leave Sanctuary.”
