I think it's more than fair to say there's plenty for Fallout fans to look forward to at the moment, what with one thing and another.
No, there's no sign of Fallout 5, but who needs it? Fallout 76 is still getting a ton of updates, a gorgeous new boxset containing all the older games is on the way, and Amazon's Fallout series is coming in April.
Take a look at Amazon Prime's Fallout below!
With so much Fallout on the horizon, you'd be forgiven for not remembering there's actually something else we were promised last year. I'm referring, of course, to the free Fallout 4 update that was announced for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles well over a year ago now.

While we know the update was ultimately put on the back-burner because of Starfield, fans are hoping against hope we'll see it any day now. In fact, the firm belief right now is Bethesda will drop it on us as a surprise around the launch of Amazon's Fallout show, which would be a heck of a time to do it.
Over on the Fallout subreddit fans are questioning how likely this release window is, especially given the TV series drops 11 April and we still don't really know the extent of the Fallout 4 update.
If it's anything like the new-gen update for Skyrim, we can probably expect improved resolution, slicker framerates, and enhanced mod support. Maybe some improved lighting effects, if we're very lucky.
However, some believe this update is taking so long because Bethesda is cooking something extra special. This is pure speculation, of course, but wouldn't it be nice if the free Fallout 4 update felt more like a proper remaster?

With the new series right around the corner, I'm sure we'll hear something official soon - even a surprise release isn't on the cards.
