If you’re a big fan of the cult hit Days Gone, and have dived into the new remaster, then you’re in luck as the game is receiving a major patch that will bring several updates to the game.
Sony and Bend Studio have come together to support Days Gone Remastered beyond the launch of the game recently, and the tweaks that have arrived courtesy of the patch notes seem to focus on balancing the game.
Most notable in the notes is the work Bend Studio is putting into the PS5 Pro support, which would make it the best way to play the game.

The new patch brings the game to version 1.025.809 and features changes to ‘balanced mode’ which will improve performance, with PSSR getting some enhancements to ensure that players are getting the best visual experience possible.
On top of this, other changes will fix crashing issues reported by some, while the Dual Sense haptic integration has had a look, making aiming feel more comfortable than ever.
Beyond this, some audio cues have undergone changes, most notably the Freakers volume has been increased when near the player, making it easier to hear when they’re approaching.
Of course, there are several bug fixes, which is the generic term for giving the game a once over to iron out any glitches.

You’ll also find the UI has been changed for Horde Assault following fan feedback.
Personally, I find the last fix on the patch notes rather funny as it states, “Fixed an animation conflict that could cause Deacon to launch into the air for long distances.”
I can only imagine players yeeting the protagonist from his bike, over the hordes, which was probably some speedrunning tactic.
The Sony remaster has thrilled fans of the game, with many of them hoping against all odds that a sequel could materialise one day.
