If you’re yearning for some old-school stealth, the kind you got when Ubisoft remembered that Splinter Cell was a thing, then CD Projekt Red has the perfect game for you.
If you weren’t aware, CD Projekt Red, the developers and publisher behind games such as Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher 3, also run a PC game store.
You can return to Night City with the Cyberpunk 2077 board game
Good Old Games, otherwise known as GOG, was set up by the team many years ago as a way of bringing older, classic PC games to modern hardware without DRM.

They’re currently giving away a terrific stealth game called Intravenous, which is a top-down pixel graphics adventure.
Personally, I’ve not played Intravenous, but as soon as I read the details this morning I went over to GOG.com and grabbed it for free.
I’m a sucker for top-down shooters and this seems to have the perfect mix of stealth and action, with plenty of environmental effects impacting the way you play.
According to the website, Intravenous only takes around nine hours to finish.

From looking at the footage and screenshots, this seems to be a mix of Splinter Cell and Hotline Miami, which is a match made in heaven.
When playing, you must react to your environment and use it to your advantage as your footsteps and the level of light will impact how stealthy you can be.
On top of this, you’ll have access to a bunch of weapons as you play through a ‘gritty’ story and attempt to take down enemies driven by ‘reactive AI’.
It appears GOG is giving this game away for free as a promotion for the sequel which comes out on 16 August.

So if you give this a shot and love it, you know you’ve got more to play next week. But you’ll need to hurry to get Intravenous for free as the offer ends in four hours.
