Cyberpunk 2077 is already a pretty stunning game. Visually, it looks lush from so many angles and Night City happens to be a gorgeous environment to explore.
This hasn’t stopped creators in the community from modding the hell out of the game to push the visual boundary even further, bringing in more and more modern technological leaps.
Cyberpunk 2077 is a gorgeous adventure running on any platform
I’ve written many of these articles where we look at the brilliant things modders can do with games. I’ve seen Unreal Engine 5 footage of countless games new and old, but when I opened this YouTube video I genuinely dropped a swear-laden expression.

This footage is amazing. It’s tagged as photorealistic and when you see the cars speeding through the city, you can see why.
The lighting is delightful as it bounces off the bodywork of each car, the city stretches out up and out in the background, crafted from upscaled textures that are crisp.
Of course, this footage is running on a beefcake PC, and the mod list is ridiculously long bringing together so many tweaks that go into this overhaul.
Running in 8K on an RTX4090, you have to see it to believe it. Will this be the Night City we drive through in the inevitable sequel? Are we going to be wowed to this extent with games in the future?

My only gripe with this footage is the motion blur. Turn it off! The populated scenes of crowds look brilliant but the motion blur doesn’t let you see just how lovely the 3D models are.
But really, I can’t complain too much because it still looks better than many other games kicking around out there.
If you’ve got a PC strong enough to carry the load, get these mods downloaded and installed into Cyberpunk 2077 and have yourself a jolly old time in Night City.
