The launch of the highly anticipated expansion to Cyberpunk 2077 is nearly upon us and as if that wasn't exciting enough, we can now claim some free The Witcher 3 inspired DLC.
Developer CD Projekt Red is no stranger to gifting its community with free DLC. After all, it has previously given us free digital goodies for The Witcher 3 as well as Cyberpunk 2077 but now, the two worlds will merge together in celebration of the expansion Phantom Liberty.

Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty will be released later this month and will take place directly after the events of the main game. Oh, and Phantom Liberty will also star Idris Elda as the brooding Solomon Reed alongside Johnny Silverhand, played by the breathtaking Keanu Reeves. Not to mention that the massive Update 2.0 will be available to all those who own the game, regardless of whether you purchase the expansion or not. Update 2.0 is available this week.
In celebration of the upcoming expansion, players will be able to claim The Witcher 3 inspired DLC to be used in Cyberpunk 2077, and we’ll let you know how. The free DLC includes a new vest, jacket, t-shirt, sword and gun.
How do you claim the free DLC? Firstly, you must create a GOG account. Upon doing so, when linking Cyberpunk 2077 as well as The Witcher 3, you can not only claim recent DLC but also previously released content.

In related news, Idris Elba has revealed whether or not players will be able to get smoochy with his character in the expansion, and the release date for the Cyberpunk 2077 sequel might not be as far away as we thought.
Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty will be released on 26 September for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
