Who’s excited for Phantom Liberty then? Cyberpunk 2077’s one and only DLC expansion got a brand new trailer yesterday during the Xbox Games Showcase along with that all-important release date, and thankfully, we don’t have too long to wait until we can dive into Night City again.
Speaking of Xbox’s totally-not-E3 showcase, it was a big one. In case you happened to miss it yesterday, gamers were finally shown a proper trailer for Fable (which will star British comedian and actor Richard Ayoade) and Ubisoft’s open-world Star Wars game (which is officially called Star Wars Outlaws), as well as the gameplay reveal for Avowed and release date for Payday 3. Oh, and that’s not to mention the plethora of new information we got about Starfield (which is looking truly fantastic, by the way).
Take a look at the latest trailer for Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty below.
Back to Phantom Liberty though, and it’s been confirmed that the expansion will release on 26 September for £24.99 ($29.99 in the U.S.), which sounds like a pretty fair price if it meets gamers’ expectations. GAMINGbible’s very own Ewan Moore has been hands-on with the expansion already, and concluded that it’s “shaping up to be the victory lap that Cyberpunk 2077 deserves”, with the promise of “engaging new stories and surprising adventures”.

Just to hype everyone up a bit more, right now, for a very limited time, Cyberpunk 2077 fans can grab a collection of digital freebies courtesy of GOG. Anyone with a GOG account can claim the Cyberpunk 2077 & Phantom Liberty Goodies Collection, which contains a selection of digital wallpapers, printable posters, official art and more.
The only catch is that the Collection is only available to claim until 14 June at 7PM (UK time), so if you’re interested, be sure to get on it sooner rather than later. To claim it, you’ll need to add the Collection to your cart (you can find it here), and then go to check out.
