If you're looking for a free game to play, I've got a suggestion that could be right up your street. Or down your street? Wherever you are in relation to the street, I think you'll like it.
Cyberpunk 2077 publisher CD Projekt quite often gives away free games via its digital storefront GOG. There's usually something pretty awesome on offer, and this weekend is no exception. But this is your last chance to get hold of it.
Have you seen how gorgeous Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty looks, by the way? There are no words.
From now until Monday (5 February), you can get hold of survival horror The Beast Inside. Developed by Illusion Ray Studio, it's a horror game packed with twists and turns, and is actually super popular among its cult following. The game has a 9/10 on Steam based on largely positive reviews, and its 74 Metacritic score isn't exactly to be sniffed at either.

"The Beast Inside is a unique, gripping twist on thriller and survival horror," reads the game's description. "The game mixes intriguing story-driven adventure with unnerving survival horror experience. Immerse in the tale of long-buried secrets, personal tragedies, and madness. Play as two protagonists living in different centuries but bounded by dark heritage."
Players explore Blackstone, "the forgotten domain of Hyde’s lineage," and a "rich world designed to complement the thrilling story."
There are timey-wimey twists, plenty of puzzles to solve, and an ending that you get to shape through your own actions and discoveries. All that for a game that currently costs precisely nothing? Well, that's not too shabby at all, is it. Just remember this particular offer is only available to PC players, but if you fit the bill feel free to jump in while you can and see if The Beast Inside is your cup of tea.
