During the D23 Expo in California, we got a whole bunch of exciting Star Wars, Marvel and Disney news, but no doubt the thing that was the most exciting to a lot of people was the announcement of a brand new Marvel game starring Captain America and Black Panther. The currently unnamed "narrative-driven, blockbuster action-adventure game” from Uncharted creator Amy Hennig is being developed by Skydance New Media, is set in WW2, and will star four heroes.
Take a look at the trailer for the Captain America and Black Panther game below.
In the initial trailer, the two additional heroes besides Black Panther and Cap weren’t revealed, but as reported by VideoGamer.com, Hennig and story consultant Marc Bernardin later clarified who they are along with some extra details. As you’d expect, Captain America is Steve Rogers, but Black Panther is Azzuri, the grandfather of T'Challa. Then, we have the founder of the Wakandan spy network, Nanali, who was the Queen of Wakanda during WW2 in the comics. Finally, there's Gabriel Jones, who was a member of the Howling Commandos in the comics, and was led by Nick Fury prior to the Avengers Initiative.

Hennig also claimed that the game will be a “binge-able serialised adventure”, which will be “inviting and welcoming to everybody”. It’s not been specifically noted what the gameplay will be like, but chances are it’ll probably be an action-adventure, given that she said, “if you’ve played my previous games, you’re not gonna be far off the mark”.
The game currently has no release window, so we’ll just have to watch this space for news.
