I know what you’re hoping, that this is an announcement that Bloodborne is finally coming to PC. Alas, it is not. However, there will be something… related to the Souls game arriving on PC next year and even better, it will be free.
Released back in 2015, Bloodborne is considered as perhaps one of the best Souls games of all time. However, the catch is that it is a PlayStation 4 exclusive even to this day which has left fans disappointed to say the least. However, courtesy of developer Lilith Walther, the fan-made Bloodborne Kart is set to release next year which as you can probably expect by the name, adds a Mario Kart twist to the FromSoftware classic.
Arriving on PC on 31 January, Bloodborne Kart will feature 12 racers and 16 maps based on environments and characters from the original title. The game will also feature a single-player campaign mode, split-screen multiplayer mode and finally, a VS Battle Mode. As well as racing through familiar landscapes, you will also meet bosses and will have to take them down in typical Souls fashion. One well-known boss fight you will have to win is against Father Gascoigne and it remains to be seen who else you will come face-to-face with.

Developed in a 32-bit retro graphics style, Bloodborne Kart has recently received a trailer which shows the ability to race on old-fashioned bikes, carriages, karts and even wheelchairs. Additionally, you can collect weapons along the way which include burial blades, rope molotovs, hunter pistols and gatling guns. It is quite literally everything you can expect from Bloodborne but with a racing twist.
With just a few months to go before release, fans can get ready to play Bloodborne Kart for free as of 31 January for PC.
