Black Myth: Wukong has been taking the world by storm and has over 10 million players enjoying the action of this ode to one of the finest pieces of literature ever created.

Filled with huge action setpieces and more bosses than you can shake a staff at, the game takes the lead from contemporaries and gives players several endings to work toward.

Black Myth: Wukong broke so many records upon release and garnered millions of fans

One such ending, the rarest of the three, requires a lot of work which may seem convoluted at first but following the trail is worth the time invested.

The true secret ending journey starts off early and gives players a bit of a checklist to work through before beating the final boss twice for the reward.

The path to the true ending starts with secret areas, in chapters one, two, four, and five, and even these can be hard to access as they’re locked behind NPC quests.

Once you’ve been through these areas and then beaten the final boss, The Great Sage’s Broken Shell, don’t start a New Cycle afterward, instead continue on to Mount Mei.

Once here, you’ll need to fight perhaps the hardest boss in the game, Erlang, who is followed by the Four Heavenly Kings.

With these trounced, all that’s left is to beat The Great Sage’s Broken Shell once more and then you’ll be treated to a gorgeously animated ending exclusive to this path.

It’s not for the faint of heart as you’ll be tackling some of the hardest bosses and areas of the game, but if you’ve already passed through the journey a few times, this might be the challenge you need.

Black Myth: Wukong has been extremely successful for the Chinese developer Game Science, and has hardcore action fans sated until the next adventure comes along, perhaps in the form of DLC for this epic game.
