Todd Howard, Bethesda's big enchilada, has recently stated that he prefers playing on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X over the PC. And he's right.
Hold on now, there are plenty of merits to playing on PC. If you build your own, you're able to customise your rig and upgrade to the latest graphics cards and processors as you like. Plus, I'm yet to see a "bubble tea powered" PlayStation.
It turns out I'm just like Todd, which sure is a sentence that no one expected out of 2022. When you spend a lot of time on the PC for work purposes, the last thing on your list to wind down is to... do more of that.

"What's my physical mood?" said Howard in an interview with Lex Fridman in his podcast on 29 November. "Do I want to lean back on a sofa? The actual physicality of it determines where I want to play." Again, I'm with him here. The experiences of playing The Witcher 3 on PC versus Xbox versus Switch are all drastically different and depend on what you want to get out of your gaming session.
"I am more of a console player because I sit at my PC at work all day. I play a lot of video games, so when I get home, I am a sofa, screen, controller person," he continued. He was also able to share that collaborating closely with the Xbox team has shown Bethesda ways of using the Series consoles' hardware to its greatest effect. That's music to the ears of those awaiting Starfield, and you can find everything that we know about the game thus far here.
