What if we could blend Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, Baldur’s Gate 3 and Bluey: The Video Game into one stunning RPG? That is exactly what we’re getting with Titan Quest II. Well apart from Bluey: The Video Game, that was a random lie, sorry to disappoint you.
Developed by the now defunct Iron Lore Entertainment and published by THQ (now THQ Nordic), the original Titan Quest was released in 2006 for PC before later being remastered for consoles and mobile devices 12 years later. Titan Quest is a popular top-down RPG similar to Diablo and it garnered impressive Metacritic scores of 77 following its initial release.

Now developed by Grimlore Games, the creators of the RPG, SpellForce 3, nearly 18 years after the release of Titan Quest, the Assassin’s Creed Odyssey meets Baldur’s Gate 3 is finally getting a sequel and it comes complete with online co-op. Happy days!

“Return to the classic mythology-inspired setting of Titan Quest and go toe-to-toe with legendary monsters as you journey across a fantastical reimagining of ancient Greece. Nemesis, Goddess of Retribution, is out of control. She is corrupting the Threads of Fate and condemning all those who oppose her to eternal punishment - including you. Take up your weapon, fight alongside gods, and change fate itself in order to stop Nemesis, free those she’s punished, and weave your own epic tale.” reads the description of Titan Quest II.
At the time of writing, Titan Quest II does not have a release date, however, it is expected to be released on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S sometime during early 2024. Hopefully publisher THQ Nordic will announce a confirmed release date in the coming months. In the meantime, you can at least wishlist Titan Quest II on Steam.
