An Assassin’s Creed concept takes a page out of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey’s playbook, by exploring the myths of Babylon.
While Assassin’s Creed Mirage is bringing Ubisoft’s flagship franchise back to its roots of sneaking around and taking down targets, there are some who hope the series still dips back into myths and legends from time to time.

Assassin’s Creed Origins, Odyssey and Valhalla, aka the RPG trilogy, weren’t afraid to explore the idea of there being a God and monsters in the Assassin’s Creed world, and a fan concept takes that idea to the next level.
Reddit user Wandering_sage1234 made a post titled: “Why I think Assassin Creed needs to focus on Ancient Mesopotamia, or more importantly Ancient Babylon in the future. It could provide a whole new meaning to the Isu lore, and Mesopotamian lore is the stuff of legends itself.”
What followed was what can only be described as an essay on why Assassin’s Creed should go in a more mystical direction, and fans absolutely loved it.
“I’m in. Mesopotamia fascinates me, your story concept sounds interesting as I dig Isu influence on ancient civilisation and culture and, if nothing else, discovery tour of Ur would be aces," wrote one user. “I had a similar idea, in concept not story, but about ancient Persia and Zoroastrianism and Iranic mythology. Sounds good,” added another.

Whether or not Ubisoft plans to go down the road of mythology and mythicism is another question, though the upcoming Assassin’s Creed Hexe is believed to take place during the Salem witch trials, meaning there could be magic in the air.
If you haven’t played Assassin’s Creed Mirage though, you absolutely should, and it’s available now for Xbox, PlayStation and PC.
