Come along with me, to a brand new RPG. Yes, that was meant to be read to the tune of the Adventure Time end credits theme, thanks for asking.
That’s right, Adventure Time fans can get ready to gear up for a new game, although this one is a little different to the ones that have released in the past. Say hello to Adventure Time: The Roleplaying Game, which is currently being developed by Cryptozoic Entertainment, in partnership with Forever Stoked Creative.
Finn and Jake recently appeared in the fighting game MultiVersus, which is returning to PC and consoles in early 2024. Take a look below.
According to a press release from Cryptozoic Entertainment, the tabletop RPG will allow players to be “as silly or heartfelt as they please”, and will boast a massive range of character customisation options with fun, unique abilities. As well as a pre-written introductory adventure, players will also be able to create and play through their own stories.

“Adventure Time is one of our favourite properties, so it was the perfect choice for our first roleplaying game,” the CEO of Cryptozoic, John Nee, said. “The series is rich with stories and characters with real heart, and we cannot wait to let players lose themselves in the world, whether they are RPG experts or this is their foray into the genre.”
“We’re excited because the customisation options make the possibilities endless,” Matt Fantastic, the creative director of Forever Stoked Creative, said. “Adventure Time fans will love it, but so will anyone who loves to dive headfirst into the world-building and problem-solving that comes with a quality RPG.”
Right now, there’s no definitive release date for Adventure Time: The Roleplaying Game, but the Kickstarter for it will launch in ‘late summer’, so if you’re interested, be sure to keep an eye out for that.
