You can't get much better than AAA games: those that have been made on a huge budget by the biggest studios out there, resulting in complex gameplay and some smash hits.
The problem for gamers is these titles tend to come at a pretty steep price - but PlayStation is putting on a huge Black Friday sale, meaning you can get some top games for a whole lot less than normal.

Take Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 - which you can get for 43.39, down from 69.99. This 2023 action-adventure game follows two of the Spider-Men: Peter Parker and Miles Morales, as they take on the supervillain Kraven the Hunter, who wants to make New York his hunting ground.
There's also Hogwarts Legacy, which was released to a huge amount of hype last year - and now, you can grab it for £19.49 (down from £64.99 for PS5). This open-world RPG puts you at the centre of the action as a fifth-year Hogwarts student in the late 1800s, tasked with battling a goblin rebellion, pesky trolls and more.
Or you could spring for Star Wars Outlaws, reduced from from £69.99 to £52.49. This is the first-ever open world Star Wars action-adventure game, meaning you have free reign to explore planets across the galaxy as an outlaw, accompanied by your beloved pet Nix.
Fresh off the success of the Amazon Prime adaptation, PlayStation also has a deal on the fourth - and most recent - instalment in the Fallout series (£13.99, down from £34.99). If you're a fan of the show, you'll want to see how the story continues - as Fallout 4 takes you into the year 2287, over 200 years after a nuclear holocaust. You play as someone who has just emerged from long-term cyrogenic stasis, and are on a mission to find your missing child.

You could also make some huge savings on Rise of the Ronin, which normally costs £69.99, but is down to £43.49 this Black Friday, taking you on a sweeping journey across war-torn 19th-century Japan.
Or finally, if superhuman battles are more your speed, Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is £47.99 on PlayStation (down from £59.99), giving you the opportunity to play as Space Marine Titus, fighting enemies across the galaxy.
These are some of the most popular games you can get on PlayStation, and the reviews really speak for themselves. Marvel's Spider-Man 2 has an impressive 4.8 stars from over 2,400 ratings on Amazon, with one gamer writing: "Very Happy with Spider-Man 2 loved the first one and this is even better. Great story / fun sides for hours and hours of enjoyment."
Nearly 3,000 reviewers flocked to the Hogwarts Legacy Amazon page, giving the game 4.7 stars. "As a lifelong Harry Potter fan, I was eagerly anticipating the release of Hogwarts Legacy, and it did not disappoint! This game is a stunning journey into the Wizarding World that has left me completely enchanted," raved one shopper.

The Star Wars Outlaws game has 4.2 stars from 338 Amazon reviews, with one reading: "I have played this game about 30 hrs so far into story it's outstanding so far and I'm having a blast!! I'm not really normally hugely into stealth games but I have enjoyed every minute of this game and actually don't want it to end."
However, gameplay can be very personal, and not everyone was so sold on their experience. One gamer said Spider-Man 2 "lacked in content and could have down with at least ten more hours". Another said of Star Wars Outlaws: "Not enough storylines".
If you wanted to look elsewhere for PlayStation game deals ahead of Black Friday, Currys has plenty of options - like Gran Turismo 7, which is reduced from £59.99 down to £34.99. Alternatively, you can make savings on Xbox games like Assassin's Creed: Odyssey, which is reduced from £54.99 to £10.99.
You'll have to act quick to get these killer deals on PlayStation, as the offers end on December 2 at 11:59pm.
