Hogwarts Legacy fans praise new free mode you might've missed

This will improve your playthrough

Hogwarts Legacy players are always in need of something new to do as the game hasn’t seen any expansive DLC from the developers.

One free mode that may have passed you by is the photo mode which is guaranteed to make your next playthrough even better.

Hogwarts Legacy got a terrific update at the start of summer that fans have enjoyed

In the recent summer update, one eagerly requested feature was added and it helps make the game feel much more cinematic.

Photomode gives you the ability to stop at any point in your playthrough and create some moody, or eye-popping shots to show off to your friends.

One user on Reddit, OhNoLetsGoAgain, recently posted some of their favourite shots on the subreddit to remind others the mode exists.

It would be easy for this mode to pass you by, there wasn’t a huge amount of fanfare when it dropped back in June.

In fact, UrLonelyScars on Reddit even commented, “I completely keep forgetting to take photos.” While TheDragonOverlord said, “I’m gonna have to try it now.”

Photomodes offer so many opportunities for creativity and give players the chance to create some standout images to remember their journey.

Hogwarts Legacy is already a lovely-looking game. The graphical fidelity is, of course, wonderful, but the style of the Harry Potter world created by Avalanche Software can’t be denied.

The halls of Hogwarts are great to explore due to their standout designs and the lands surrounding the school are, in turn, creepy and gorgeous.

If you aren’t already using photomode, make sure you remember. It’s simple to use, either press ‘escape’ on keyboard, or ‘start/options’ on controller, and in the bottom right corner, you’ll see the hotkey for photomode.

There are several options to make your photos pop and you can experiment with all kinds of filters and colour palettes to transform your shot. Give it a try!
