EA Sports FC 25 is already heavily discounted in limited-time deal

Right now both the PS5 and PS4 versions of EA Sports FC 25 are £39.99 at Amazon, down from £69.99. Featuring yet more graphical improvements, better player movement and smarter AI, the odds of a passing housemate mistaking it for a live football match have increased yet again.

With both men's and women's teams available across exhibition matches, career mode and online multiplayer, just about every star of the game is covered and available to scream at when they miss a sitter.

The enhanced FC IQ features mean players have more tactical control over their teams during games and in career mode, with real-world data being used to help guide your virtual teammates to play in the most realistic way possible.

With 4.2 out of 5 stars averaged across over 650 ratings on Amazon, it seems FC25 is set to dominate the football sim world for another season. “The game boasts impressive graphics that truly take advantage of the PS5’s capabilities, making every match feel incredibly realistic,” said one five-star review. “The attention to detail in the player models, stadiums, and even the weather conditions is remarkable.”

“Career mode has had a complete revamp in how it’s presented and the in-depth tactics make it feel like Football Manager,” said another player. A third added: “Well worth the money and my son plays on it daily.”

Some hoped for changes to longstanding issues, only to be left wanting: “The difficulty levels settings are still ridiculous. Either way too easy or too difficult and been this way for far too long.” Another chimed in: "The inability to remove the horrendous commentary is annoying.” Pro tip: head to the audio settings, you set the commentary team to silent there.

That said, if you’re after an evergreen multiplayer game complete with all your favourite players, EA Sports FC 25 is a bargain at £39.99.
