Are you a fan of wearing gaming-themed pieces of clothing that subtly let anyone who sees you that you like video games but are still cool, stylish and approachable? Well, has Wolverine got the perfect pair of Hellcat boots for the average Halo enjoyer.

The design was in the works for more than a year to refine this utilitarian yet awesome look for the boots, following on from a comment that the safety toe of the original Hellcat boots look like it wouldn't be out of place on a shoe rack on a UNSC Starship. Personally speaking, I find that some gaming apparel is so ostentatious that it's like hanging a hot pink neon sign saying "I AM VITAMIN D DEFICIENT" on your neck. Or some simply aren't imaginative enough. Sorry to point this out, but might we try sticking something other than the Triforce on the front of a shapeless t-shirt, Nintendo?
These boots - technically termed the Wolverine x Halo: The Master Chief boots - aren't on sale yet but you could bet your bottom dollar that all 117 pairs of these boots will be snapped up by fans. Obviously, they're the exact shade of green to match Master Chief's garms and on either side of the heel is an emblem of the United Nations Space Command and the character's Spartan number. The logo of the Materials Group also features, as the manufacturer of Master Chief's Spartan armor, and the leather itself looks like plates welded together.
Fortunately, these won't feel like tonnes of metal encasing your toesies as the boots boast rubber lug outsoles for grip and an UltraSpring high rebound midsole creating a "lightweight, energized ride." Lovely.
Costing $225 and going on sale on March 29th through Wolverine's website, I'm sure you'll need to be quicker than quick to grab a pair of these unique shoes. If you're a fan from outside of the United States, then you'd best find yourself a fan from the United States to purchase these boots on your behalf, because it doesn't look like Wolverine ships worldwide.
