A major title might be coming to Xbox Game Pass later this month, if a new rumour is to be believed.
Per several sources that InsiderGaming has, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will be coming to the service later this month, alongside several other Activision titles such as Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy. It's unclear when, and indeed if, they'll also be adding other titles from the series to the service, with it being noted by CharlieIntel that the reason that the Black Ops series isn't rumoured is due to the "servers being all hacked up" and "no cross play so player counts will be low".
Take a look at Modern Warfare 3 in action below.
Currently, there's no official word from Xbox themselves, though there's a chance that they're internally reviewing when exactly to announce the release since the console maker announced heavy increases to Xbox Game Pass, along with changing the service so that only one tier of the service actually gets day one releases. The price increases are as follows:
- Xbox Game Pass Ultimate is increasing from £12.99 to £14.99 a month
- Xbox Game Pass Core is increasing from £49.99 to £55.99 a year
- Xbox Game Pass PC is increasing from £7.99 to £9.99 a month
Reviewing the campaign, we said that the series "deserved much better than this churned-out disappointment".

"If you're desperate for a bit of CoD this year, then you've probably already picked this game up. Otherwise, give this game a miss or at least hold out for patches to fix some issues. In a year that has brought us so much joy with some amazing video game releases, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III somehow manages to lower the tone," our reviewer wrote.
