The Witcher 4 has been teased by Geralt’s actor Doug Cockle, and it’s fairly good news.
CD Projekt Red’s next Witcher game has been shrouded in secrecy for quite some time now, which is probably a good thing considering how far in advance Cyberpunk 2077 was revealed, and how it was treated at launch.
While you wait for the next game though why not revisit The Witcher 3 again?
Presumably called The Witcher 4, the next game will apparently follow a new protagonist, and I'm sure many of you have your fingers crossed for it to be Ciri in the leading role.

While nothing has been confirmed by CD Projekt Red, we now know for a fact that the next game won’t just be following Geralt again.
We know this because Doug Cockle, the actor behind the iconic White Wolf himself, has said that he won’t be the star of the next game, though Geralt will be part of the story in some way.
Now this could mean a few things. Geralt could either be on hand to help out Ciri or whoever is taking the protagonist role, a red-herring to hide the fact Geralt is the protagonist again, or the witcher could just appear as a cameo or in a passing line of dialogue.
Fan's have speculated that he'll appear in a different role to his usual monster-slaying job, as "a world famous wine producer from his home in Toussaint."

Others speculate that he could be the new Vesemir, whereas others believe he'll be the "Gwent final boss
Overall fans hope that the next game doesn't spoil his "retirement at Corvo Bianco, having a peaceful life with his friends and loved ones".
Rest assured though, the game is at the top of CD Projekt Red’s priority list right now, so hopefully we get some kind of update soon.
