The next chapter of Where Winds Meet is just around the corner, with the Hexi region dropping in March.
The Hexi Region will mark the third main location in the game, and it isn’t currently known what story quests or main chapters might be included in the debut.
However, to tease players and get them excited for the release on March 6, 2026, the developers have teased a treasure map for the free-to-play game that gives a bit of information on the size and shape of Hexi.
It also teases that there could be interesting loot hidden, and that players may have the chance to go hunt down some powerful items or special gear.
In a social media post shared on Where Wind Meet’s official account, a hand-drawn map can be seen with a selection of different markers.

The post includes a riddle that implies there will be powerful treasures hidden throughout the region. These areas of interest are marked by flags on the map. However, there also seems to be a boss fight marker to the north, as well as a few books that will be worth hunting down.
The map image is the first real look players have had of the Hexi region, though more information is set to drop during a special trailer that will air on February 27, 2026, as part of IGNFanFest. This trailer could offer more insight into what treasures might be waiting in Hexi.
Fans in the comments of the map post appear to be excited, though some are concerned about the difficulty level of the challenges that could be waiting near treasure points. Where Winds Meet is an ARPG soulslike, and the battles aren’t easy to tackle.
Because of this, it will be critical to level up and complete the first two chapters of content before the Hexi region unlocks. This will ensure that Where Winds Meet players are ready to go when it comes time to start exploring.
