With many of us having watched the Star Wars movies as children, it is sometimes worth considering that much of its content may have been lost on us.
It is only now that we are older that we can take a look back at the beloved movies and cast a critical eye over them, or pay attention to some parts we may have originally missed.
Take a trip down memory lane with the trailer for Star Wars: Return of the Jedi below!
The original trilogy, consisting of Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope, Star Wars: Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back and Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi, were released in 1977, 1980, and 1983 respectively and paved the way for thousands of other sci-fi movies that would follow.

Centering on the Galactic Civil War between the Rebel Alliance and the Galactic Empire, the story follows Luke Skywalker in his quest to become a Jedi under the tutelage of Obi-Wan Kenobi and Yoda.
Now over 40-years on and fans are still revisiting the iconic trilogy and that has led to some noticing that two major characters throughout the movies never actually interacted at all.
This comes after one user took to r/StarWars to share their discovery that Rey and Poe and Obi-Wan and Darth Siduous never actually meet in the movies.
Now, you may have already noticed that this user was incorrect but their post did actually lead to one interesting revelation.

“Probably an obvious one, but Yoda never meets Leia or Han, unless you count seeing Leia as a baby,” user Kwyjibo331 shared.
Considering that Leia, Han, and Yoda are key figures in the original trilogy, it is incredible to think that they never actually came face-to-face and it is something that many of us would have overlooked back when they were released.
Not only that but the user had some other interesting tidbits to share.
Neither Luke nor Han even know that Tarkin exists, never mind actually meeting him,” they continued.

“And that’s despite the fact that he’s a main villain and they're the main heroes.
Han and Leia never meet Palpatine.
None of the hero characters ever meet the minor imperial characters, like Piett, Veers, etc.”
These are bizarre facts to say the least but definitely make sense when you think back to the movies.

It just goes to show how much we may have missed even though the last entry in the original trilogy is over 40 years old.
