Wolverine will be back in the Marvel Cinematic Universe soon according to a leak from an insider - and apparently, he’ll be throwing hands (claws?) with one of the Avengers’ founding members.
Shout out in advance to Josh Wilding over on Comic Book Movie for the original story!
The leaker @MyTimeToShineH on Twitter has revealed that Wolverine will be stepping back into the MCU and– oh, hold up, the information is locked behind a subscription.

Thankfully, someone over on Comic Book Movie either pays for the sub or knows someone who does, because they let slip all of the details in @MyTimeToShineH’s leak.
By the sounds of things, Wolverine will be stepping back into Disney’s MCU to fight the Hulk.
Now, there are no details regarding who will be taking on either role.
We can safely assume that Mark Ruffalo would be reprising his role as Bruce Banner, but whether or not Hugh Jackman will return to play Wolverine is very much up in the air.

However, as Josh Wilding spotted, Jackman has actually been up for a Hulk vs. Wolverine fight since 2014.
In a past interview regarding the classic fight, he said “There's no doubt he'd get in a fight with Hulk at some point… Those two bad, rage-filled characters are going to square off at some point. It would be quite fun.”
“I don't know how much fun to shoot it would be because I'm sure I'd be on the worst end of it, but hey, he can heal."
Of course, the movie would make a lot of sense for two reasons. Firstly, Wolverine’s first appearance was in The Incredible Hulk #180, where the two threw down.

Secondly, due to some rights issues with Universal Pictures, Hulk can’t actually star in a solo movie. The only way to have him star in an MCU project is to have the film focus on another character, so making Wolverine the character’s lead would bypass this issue.
Only time will tell if it proves to be true. The real question is, will Wolverine be played by Jackman or Henry Cavill?
