Despite its lead-actress having some pessimistic thoughts about the future of the Marvel series, it seems as though She-Hulk may still return and fans are feeling divided.
Airing back in 2022 and running for one season (for now), She-Hulk was a Marvel Studios television adaptation of none other than our favourite female superpowered hulk.

Played by Tatiana Maslany and airing on Disney+, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law received generally positive reviews from critics and despite some criticism for its questionable CGI, Maslany’s performance was praised.

Which is why news that it was probably not going to get a second season was received badly by some fans.
The bad news came during a Twitch stream on 15 January, 2024 where Maslany claimed that the possibility of She-Hulk season two was implausible as its budget was out of the realm of possibility.
With season one’s budget coming in at around $225 million, it made it one of the most expensive MCU shows so Maslany’s comments were taken as gospel.
However, according to Disney CEO Bob Iger, the idea of a second season has indeed not been “completely abandoned”.

Reported by Comic Book Movie, both Disney and Marvel are open to a renewal.
"Maslany's comments are basically accurate, just lacking some context. That context is when CEO Bob Iger returned to Disney and changed much of Marvel’s direction, everything was reevaluated," a source from the report said.
"So while Marvel works everything out, it’s not that a second season of She-Hulk has been completely abandoned. It just seems less likely than not at the moment."
Following the news, fans took to r/marvelstudios to discuss the update.

One comment read, “I hope they do to be honest. I enjoyed it. Definitely had flaws, but it was mostly good fun and it has a lot of potential. I hope they take on some of the feedback and improve it for season two.”
Another said: “I hope they do. I honestly loved season one and I think the fact that Marvel is actually using showrunners now will help them out a ton, especially with using a budget efficiently.”
With no major update since 2024, it remains to be seen if we will receive She-Hulk season two but it seems as though a large majority of its viewers would be interested.
