The future of Scarlet Witch is still largely unknown - in fact, we’ve not had any confirmation that Elizabeth Olsen is due to return to the MCU.
We know she wants to find her sons, and Vision, but the last we saw Scarlet Witch she’d had a mountain dropped on her, leaving her for dead, but we all know Marvel has something planned.

Elizabeth Olsen has actually pitched a return to the MCU herself, with a unique approach to Scarlet Witch.
Talking to The Playlist, Olsen discussed a pitch she took to Marvel, planning out her future as Scarlet Witch.
“You know, when I think about my dream version [of Wanda], it’s like 50 years later, and I have white hair— such a big, massive white wig—and a gnarly face of wrinkles,” said Olsen.
The actress continues, “It’s something I have quite literally pitched. Because it would be so fun to get to do that to me. I mean, I guess in one of the comics, she ages quite quickly, and I think those are the images that are implanted in my brain.”
Fans aren’t saying no to this idea, and on Reddit, many think Olsen is onto something.
“Hol' up. Let her cook,” says ben_jamin_g.
While Mecca_Lecca_Hi notes, “I’ll take more Elizabeth as Wanda in any flavour it comes in.”
What kind of story this could play into is anyone’s guess, but if Olsen wants it, she has the star power to request something along these lines from Marvel executives.
For now, it’s just a happy little idea, but many would welcome a new slant on Wanda and her role in the MCU.
“My ideal wish for older Wanda is to become ultimately a mental healer for the people who lost hope and experienced grief and loss. It's an aspect I loved in 2016 comics issue,” explains solehan511601.
Scarlet Witch needs to return first, then maybe we can think about her distant future.
