The directors of the upcoming Avengers films, Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars, have shed some light on the film’s production.
The next two Avengers films are going to be peak cinema, no doubt, but we’ve still got a while to wait before they grace our screens.
Who knows who’ll appear in them, but rumour has it the Logan we saw in Deadpool & Wolverine will have a vital role to play.
Recently, the Russo Brothers, who are behind the upcoming Marvel films, spoke about the process of putting together yet another colossal two-parter and the challenge it poses.

In an interview with Empire, it’s said the pair and writer Stephen McFeely were hesitant to get involved after Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame, but after some discussion about how it could all work, they landed “upon an idea that activated all of us”.
This was shared to a Reddit thread, and they’ve been relentlessly mocked ever since by fans who know exactly what persuaded them to return to the MCU.
“The idea was, 'They’re going to pay us a lot of money to do it',” teased one commenter, with another following up with, “Aka, money.”
That said, others were quick to defend them, saying, “Why are we all calling this a cash grab? The Russos have been talking about Secret Wars since Endgame. This is what they always wanted to do.”

Fans have also roasted the return of Robert Downey Jr, who’s our new Doctor Doom after leaving the role of Iron Man behind.
It’s unknown how exactly it’ll work and there’ll probably be some confusion amongst the characters at the sight of their former leader being a supervillain now, but I’m sure it’ll work out.
Avengers: Doomsday is set to release in cinemas sometime in 2026, so we’ve got a long time to wait but it’ll surely be worth it.
