A Reddit post starts off with, “I’m confused what Marvel’s scheduled Phase 6/post-Secret Wars plan is.” Don’t worry Redditor, we’re confused too.
Marvel hasn’t had a particularly strong direction for the MCU since Thanos was snapped into oblivion by Tony Stark.
The MCU will be back on the big screen very soon with a new Captain America holding the shield
It seems like new ideas and stories come up every week with this comic book story, or that hero, taking the focus.

And the fans are starting to see the cracks.
Now, for all we know, the announcement of Robert Downey Jr as Doctor Doom could very well be the ticket to a strong MCU but the doubt and confusion is understandable.
The Reddit post in question asks what is going on beyond Phase Six of the MCU, so post-Secret Wars.
Aromatic-Cupcake4802 lays out the films we know about and describes the plan as told by Bob Iger of Disney.

Essentially, Iger said that Disney will put out four Marvel movies per year and that the Multiverse Saga will end with Secret Wars, so what’s next?
“My guess is some kind of Mutants saga next but I hope it also delves into the supernatural stuff like Blade, Moon Knight, Agatha” said one Redditor.
Some fans think that Doctor Strange 3 will follow Avengers: Secret Wars, while others believe Spider-Man 4 will be slated to appear.
Wise-Tourist thinks, “Post-Secret Wars are an epilogue of sorts. I could see one being the last movie of the old timeline wrapping up the multiverse story maybe a Doctor Strange movie and then the next one being the first movie set in a new universe setting up the future saga ahead of us.”

And we can’t forget about X-Men which seems like the obvious Saga to follow, though that still leaves a lot of heroes on the table.
One user points out the recent troubles in focus by saying, “Marvel themselves are even more confused.”
Of course, Marvel doesn’t want to paint themselves into a corner as they did with Jonathan Majors and the Kang Dynasty, so it’s understandable that everything is under wraps for now.
