Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige has hinted at what the future could hold for the MCU in the upcoming Phase Seven, but it seems that some fans have concerns.
It’s fair to say that the MCU has been a bit turbulent since the conclusion of Avengers: Endgame in 2019.
That entry in the Infinity Saga was so epic that it would be a tough act to follow for any Marvel movie.

Don’t get me wrong, we have had some good moments post-Endgame such as Spider-Man: No Way Home, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3 and Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.
However, the likes of Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantiumania and Eternals do their best to ruin all the fun.

At the time of writing, we are currently in Phase Five of the MCU with its next movie Captain America: Brave New World arriving in the coming months before concluding with Thunderbolts*.
Then, when we move into Phase Six, which will kick things off with The Fantastic Four: First Steps followed by Blade (if that is ever released), Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars.
We can only speculate how events will play out and hope Marvel Studios handles the Secret Wars story with the respect it deserves, especially when you consider that its comic series is so well-received.
That being said, as reported by Omelete.com, Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige has teased during D23 in Brazil that the X-Men will have an important role to play following Avengers: Secret Wars. However, fans on Reddit have concerns.

“I would hope it’s not a 'one or the other' situation where the Avengers are completely gone and the X-Men replace them,” said a concerned Titosunshinez. “I’m hoping the Avengers exist in one place while the X-Men exist on the other side of that place.”
“I really need the MCU to lean into the idea of having a live-action universe with the Fantastic Four, Avengers, and X-Men all at the same time,” replied Ill_Adhesiveness_560. “It’s something we’ve never seen, and comic book fans have been waiting decades for it.”
“I hope the characters they use for the team are good. Kevin said that we'll get characters that we have seen and probably never have seen,” teased ZekeorSomething.
I hope that at some point we get Avengers vs. X-Men because that is a fantastic comic book series that could be adapted into live-action before the heroes team up to fight the forces of evil.
