Spoilers for Deadpool & Wolverine below, don't say I didn't warn you!
Blimey, Marvel. The MCU has its first R-rated movie in Deadpool & Wolverine, and it's fair to say they weren't shy about using it to the fullest.
Jokes about cocaine and pegging, bloody fight scenes, and heaps of gore mean this is one movie you won't be taking your five-year-old nephew with the Wolverine obsession to see.

If you've watched the movie, you'll know it's also packed with some really fun cameos - including a brand new Wolverine!
But perhaps the best cameo of all - and this is your last chance to avoid spoilers - is the return of Chris Evans. Not as Captain America, but as the Human Torch.
Deadpool & Wolverine leads us to believe that Chris Evans is a Captain America variant at first, before he flames on and reveals himself to be the Human Torch from the original Fox Fantastic Four. It's a genius mislead that genuinely took me by surprise.
Unfortunately things haven't been going so well for this Johnny Storm since he was captured by the TVA and banished to the void. One can only speculate on what his crime was, but I'd imagine it has something to do with those Fantastic Four movies being stinkers.

While Johnny does team up with Deadpool and Wolverine briefly, he meets an incredibly gruesome end at the hands of the movie's villain, Cassandra Nova.
Cassandra, a powerful psychic and long-lost twin of X-Men founder Charles Xavier, discovers that Johnny has been saying some unkind things about her, thanks to Deadpool not knowing when to shut his mouth.
The result? Cassandra savagely flays the Human Torch and leaves his screaming, exposed tissue to collapse into the dirt. Probably not the legacy any member of the Fantastic Four deserves but... we're getting a new FF soon enough in the MCU so I guess poor Chris Evans was disposable.
