Fallout fans are puzzled learning the fate of a popular character from New Vegas, and it was hidden in plain sight.
The Fallout series has always been one of the most popular RPG properties in the video game industry, long before Bethesda acquired the license and released Fallout 3 in 2008 on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
Few could probably argue against the belief that the Fallout series would go on to become better and bigger with each new release following the Bethesda acquisition.
That being said, when the critically acclaimed live-action Fallout series from Amazon dropped last year, it welcomed in a new legion of fans, which saw the likes of Fallout 4 and Fallout 76 in particular see an increase in concurrent players.

Now, fans are looking forward to the second season of Amazon’s Fallout, which will take us to New Vegas, the home of the cult-classic entry that was released in 2010, Fallout: New Vegas.
Last month, Amazon dropped the first trailer for Fallout season two and fans across social media went into a frenzy, especially when we got to see New Vegas in all its live-action glory.
In the trailer, there’s a quick ‘blink and you’ll miss it’ moment that appears to feature Victor, a popular Fallout: New Vegas Securitron AI, often found wandering Nuka-Cola World.
The trailer suggests that Victor is alive and well in the Amazon series, but that might not entirely be the case. That’s at least according to a newly released official poster for season two.

“Victor spotted - what on earth happened in New Vegas?” asked Redditor SedativeComet, sharing images that appear to feature the character in question.
“Clearly, the showrunners are going with some form of destruction of New Vegas. Not a decision I like, but I would like to know wtf. Even Victor didn’t survive it,” they concluded.

“That is Freeside, which is trashed in the game as well. So it doesn't mean New Vegas is destroyed,” claimed KorolEz.
“The posters aren't anything to really carve into stone. Lucy's one depicts Dinky facing the Strip, and it more or less should really only be facing east or west, not up north,” explained Stevenwave. “The posters are just going for a cool visual.”
“We do see in the trailer a shot with Victor and the Ghoul, together, not to mention Victor's personality being able to jump from robot to robot,” wrote Xeron. “Maybe Victor becomes a companion for Lucy and the Ghoul on their way to meet House, and one of his bodies gets wrecked in a fight?”
I guess we’ll just have to wait and see what fate has in store for Victor when season two of Fallout premieres on Amazon Prime on 17 December 2025.
