One of Batman's most popular storylines is finally getting a sequel, something fans have dreamed of for years now.

DC’s caped crusader has been fighting his crusade against crime for over 80 years now, and treated fans across all media types to some of the greatest stories ever told in fiction.

One can only imagine what they’ve got cooking for The Batman 2, but first we need finish The Penguin series

One of my personal favourites, and one that many other fans enjoy too, is Hush. This was a case that pushed Batman to limits he probably never knew he had both physically and mentally.

The story follows Batman and his family being targeted by an unknown assailant, as the criminals of Gotham descend on the city as they usually do and a ghost from the past returns to Buce Wayne’s life.

I won’t spoil too much as it’s worth a read, but the ending left a little to be desired for some, luckily a sequel is officially on the way.

That’s right Batman Hush 2 is officially happening, and writer Jim Lee is returning to direct the story.

He’ll be joined by Jeph Loeb, Scott Williams, and Alex Sinclair, with some artwork for the upcoming story already being shared online.

It features Batman doing what he does best, beating up thugs, while Hush moves pieces on a chessboard from an unknown location.

Apparently a prelude to the story will feature in Justice League Unlimited #1, with Hush 2 releasing sometime in March 2025, though an exact date hasn’t been given yet.

This will be an exciting read for fans of Batman, and hopefully one that lives up to the hype of its predecessor, as there were still plenty of questions left unanswered when the first story concluded so many years ago.

While this comic continuation is exciting, the real dream would be seeing Hush make his live-action debut in one of Matt Reeves’ Batman films…

I like Red Dead Redemption 2 for the most part, but this feature would annoy me so much if they brought it back for GTA VI.
