The Batman fandom doesn’t know what to make of this latest movie teaser.
Fandoms are rarely united when it comes to beloved characters; each person has an opinion and oftentimes they clash with one another.
However, this new movie rumour has set the cat among the pigeons, so to speak.

How are we feeling about Batman: Arkham Shadows?
According to multiple sources – and first reported by The Hollywood Reporter - DC is planning to team up Bane and Deathstroke in a new film.
Given how much we’ve all moaned at one time or another that we’re tired of superhero movies, this decision could be the ideal way to increase interest again.

As an audience, we’re in our villain loving era; Agatha All Along, The Penguin, Joker: Folie à Deux all prove that we’re curious about the lives of villains beyond them being the antagonists of the plot.
That said, such a creative move isn’t without its pitfalls.
As we’re seeing from the critics' reviews of Joker: Folie à Deux, some stories are best left alone.
Of course, the film could still prove a roaring success with the general public, yet the issue of the fine line between success and failure remains.

“I’ll watch but I’ve always thought villain centric movies were odd,” said Fun-Bag7627 during one of many Reddit discussions about the movie.
The concern, at least for some Batman fans, is that Sony won’t get it right when planning the narrative that would see these two villains team up together.
“I guess Warner sees money on using villains. Joker made a billion, so they think why not? Which raises the question: have these two ever teamed up in the comics? I feel this should have happened a long time ago,” posted ElementalSaber.
On the flip side of this, there’s just as many fans excited about this project as there are naysayers.

“Goddamn that would be so f**king cool. And it would continue to help set apart Brave and The Bold from other Batman movies and specifically Reeves Crime Saga,” argued FlamingPanda77.
Fans have time to be undecided about this film because it’s such a long way off releasing.
Still, while we won’t see such a partnership on-screen for a few years yet, that won’t stop fans arguing about the pros and cons of said partnership.
