For those highly anticipating the release of The Witcher 4 or maybe even Cyberpunk 2, then you may just be one of the lucky ones who could get to play earlier than most.

It has been almost ten-years since the release of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt but the CD Projekt Red title has shown no signs of dwindling popularity.

Still played to this day by hordes of fans, the open-world RPG has even gone on to inspire a Netflix adaptation as well as thousands of free mods that aim to add even more content.

However, development for The Witcher 4 had to take a seat to make way for Cyberpunk 2077, CD Projekt Red’s most recent title that has undergone quite a transformation.

First released back in 2020 in a sorry state, it has since gone on to become one of the most-loved games of all time thanks to its dedicated development team, multiple updates and patches and its Phantom Liberty DLC.

Now with CD Projekt Red hard at work on both The Witcher 4 and Cyberpunk 2, we are all eager for the day when we receive a release date.

It may be a while until that happens but in good news, it may be a lot sooner for some.

Thanks to CD Projekt Red expanding its playtest programme to include North America, more fans will be able to play upcoming titles ahead of their full launch.

If you are over sixteen and do not work in the video game industry, you will be able to apply to become a Play Tester and participants will be able to “influence the development of the company's various projects.”

This will be achieved through feedback on such things as game mechanics, storytelling and character development and much more.

Not only that but playtesters can also get their hands on some “exclusive loot” as they help influence all of the factors of the upcoming game from early development to the production process.

With Cyberpunk 2 and The Witcher 4 being two of the most-anticipated games of all time, you could be a part of it.
