Even though The Witcher 3 came out almost ten years ago and Cyberpunk 2077 has been on store shelves for over four years, one of CD Projekt Red's most well beloved staff members is pretty certain we've yet to discover all of the secrets that both of the games contain.

Pawel Sasko, best known for his work as The Witcher 3's lead quest designer, revealed to the podcast channel Flow Games that he's certain of at least "a couple of examples" of secrets that players are yet to find.

Sasko was ultimately tight-lipped about what exactly these secrets are or even how players could go about finding them, but he did make specific reference to players ongoing hunt to decipher the meaning behind Cyberpunk 2077's elusive FF:06:B5 mystery.

In the case of The Witcher 3, some might be surprised to learn that there are secrets still buried within such a beloved, popular title of its age, but hardcore fans would have likely already assumed this was the case given its history.

One particularly famous secret was discovered in The Witcher 3 more than seven years after it released, which featured a hidden method for discovering one character's untimely demise.

Sasko noted that he does thoroughly enjoy reading through community theories and watching people struggle with the choices in the games he's worked on, so he'll doubtlessly enjoy it if this news spurs fans of either game into digging even deeper.

That being said, given how much delight he derives from watching players torment themselves, it would be very on brand if Sasko is simply teasing fans into hunting down secrets that don't actually exist.

It wouldn't be the first time a developer has tricked their beloved community into searching for something non-existent. Perhaps Pawel Sasko is attempting to take a leaf out of Hidetaka Miyazaki's book.
