After many months, there has finally been an announcement for The Elder Scrolls VI, but don’t get all excited and expect me to tell you more about the actual game.
You see, while there’s no news on how the game is coming along, or how far Bethesda is through the development of the highly anticipated RPG, we do have a lovely little point to discuss.
It's been 7 years since The Elder Scrolls 6 was teased
Announced via Twitter, Bethesda has arranged an auction benefiting Make-A-Wish foundation, with the winner able to design an NPC for The Elder Scrolls VI.

The silent auction will take place via One Cause, and the lucky winner not only gets to work with Bethesda on a new NPC, but will also help benefit children suffering from incurable diseases.
The tweet reads, “We're offering one lucky winner the chance to create an NPC for The Elder Scrolls VI to benefit Make-A-Wish Mid-Atlantic. [The] Winning bid will go directly to Make-A-Wish so they can keep granting wishes.“
Make-A-Wish has spent years granting the wishes of children who are often suffering with terminal illnesses.
The wishes allow them to meet their heroes, have holidays with family members, or attend theme parks for a day filled with joy.

It’s a worth cause and the winner can know that their money will help make sick children very happy.
There are no details on when The Elder Scrolls VI will finally emerge from the studio, so while this isn’t an update that can have us excited to see what Bethesda has been cooking, we at least know that it’s all still on track.
Speculation has been running rampant for the past few years since the game was announced, with the community attempting to guess everything from the potential plot, to the game’s setting.
As with any speculation, we hope we get an official update from the developers soon.
